Mera Peak Climbing
Mera Peak Climbing is one of the highest trekking peaks in Nepal’s Himalayan state. It is a breathtaking challenge that offers climbers the most exciting adventures among Nepal’s other climbing peaks. Although it is frequently visited along the Makalu Barun National Park.
The ascent is done from the Mera La pass at 5415m on the northern face, which links to the less inhabited valleys of Hinku. The Mera Peak is located between Everest and Makalu. As well as the isolation of Hinku Valley
Finally, Mera Peak Climbing is challenging to climb, but it does not require a seasoned climber to try it. It is a technically straightforward peak, but the snow and numerous crevasses take time as you ascend the summit. This peak calls to season and novice climbers who dare to dream and enjoy taking on a challenge for that unique sensation of accomplishment.

Flight Information to /from Lukla
Flight Information to /from Lukla: Due to the Kathmandu airport overcrowding, Flights to Lukla (Everest Region) depart from Manthali Airport (Ramechhap) for the busiest season. The distance from Kathmandu to Mathali airport is about 130 kilometers. So it takes about 3.5 to 4 hours to drive. We leave Kathmandu at 1 or 1.30 AM to catch our early morning flights from Manthali to Lukla.
Note: The flight will be departing from March 15 to May 15 and October to November. However, it depends on the decision of the airlines and the civil aviation authority of Nepal.
Lukla flight delays or cancellations
The bad weather conditions and overtraffic in Kathmandu airports are the main reasons for delaying and canceling flights. The weather in hilly and Himalayan regions will be changed so quickly. So, We at Himalaya Darshan Treks highly recommend managing a minimum of 1 or 2 extra days for your Everest and Dolpo region treks.
What is the Lukla Flight Weight limitation?
The airlines have a weight limitation of only 15 kilograms (about 33 pounds) per person so please try to make your luggage less than 15 kilograms. Otherwise, you have to pay extra money but it is only possible if there is no overweight on the plane. So, the best option is to make your bag light.
Conclusion
Mera Peak Summit 6,476 meters is one of Nepal’s highest trekking/climbing peaks and promises an exhilarating journey with breathtaking vistas of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga. Ideal for hikers with some experience in climbing, spring, and fall are the finest seasons to climb.
Trekking over various landscapes is part of the experience, which calls for the right acclimatization and permits. In the breathtaking Himalayas, climbers may have an adventure of a lifetime of achievements with the correct equipment and physical preparation.
