Ghalegaun Village Trek

Ghalegaun Village Trek is one of Nepal’s most popular tourist destinations. Located at an elevation of 2,070 meters in the Lamjung district in the Annapurna region. The Ghale Gurung live in the village, which has about 120 houses. It is the area’s most populous ethnic group. GhaleGaon is known for preserving the original Gurung village’s rustic charm.

Ghalegaun Home Stay Trek is a stunning settlement with views of Mt. Manaslu (8,163 meters), Lamjung Himal (6,986 meters), Annapurna II (7,937 meters), and Ngadichuli (Harka Himal) (7,835 meters). Likewise, Himal Chuli (7,893 meters), Buddha Himal (6,672 meters), and Fishtail (Machhapuchre) (6,993 meters).

As well as the mind-blowing view of many other mountain peaks. Around GhaleGaun Trek, prominent tourist spots include Ghan Pokhara at 2,150m, Bhujung village at 1,600m, Pasgau village at 1,650m, and notably Gurung village. Itinerary

Day 1, Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel.

We, Himalaya Darshan Treks heartily welcome you and your group to Nepal. One of our company staff will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The person will be waiting outside the baggage hall of the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, holding an A4-size paper with your name and our company name. So, you have to look for that person for your pick up from the airport. Your check-in at the hotel.

Day 2, Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar/Khudi. Stay at lodge.

Your guide pick up you from the hotel and drive to Besisahar/Khudi through the road to Dumre then drive to Besisahar. It takes about 6 to 7 hours to drive. Stay at the guest house.

Day 3, Trek to GhaleGaun (1540m), Stay at homestay.

After breakfast, we will start to climb to Ghalegaun. Walking with beautiful scenery is perfect, you can enjoy seeing beautiful mountain views, river, and valley views. It makes your Ghalegaun tour pleasant and superb. The local people are warm welcoming you with good hospitality. Stay at a local homestay and enjoy local food.

Day 4, Trek to Baglungpani (1600m), Stay at homestay.

Enjoy the beautiful mountain views, Green Valley, and sunrise views from here. Then, After breakfast, our trek continues to the Gurung settlement of Ghan Pokhara, crossing fertile lands and several traditional villages along Nepal’s zigzag way in about one hour. Then continue trekking to Baglung Pani (1600m)

Day 5, Trek to Laxmi Bazaar (1345m) Stay at guest house

We will start the day by trekking from the beautiful Baglung Pani village and trek to Laxmi Bazaar a typical mixed village.

Day 6, Trek to Begnas Tal and drive to Pokhara (850m) Stay at hotel.

Today is the last day of this trek. After walking for about 3 hours you will reach the beautiful Lake Begnas. Enjoy a boat ride there, then lunch at Begnas before heading to Pokhara by taxi or local bus. Sightseeing and rest at Pokhara

Day 7, Drive to Kathmandu/Pokhara.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
