Mohare Danda Trek

A brand-new trekking route in the Annapurna region is called the Mohare Danda Trek. Another name for this hike is the Annapurna Dhaulagiri Trek. This trek takes you to the serene, off-the-beaten-path foothills of Annapurna. Simply put, the Mohare Trek is the greatest option for tourists who want to see Nepal’s rich culture and natural splendors in a short time.

Less congested and full of stunning natural and cultural history is the Mohare Danda Trek Route. This trip begins in Ghumaune Tal, near Galeshwor, and travels over hills and mountains—likewise, rivers, forests, and a lot more. How high is Mohare Danda?

The Mohare Danda is 3,300m high from sea level. It is the highest point of this trek and the most beautiful viewpoint of the Annapurna region in Nepal. You can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range, Nilgiri, and the surrounding view from Mohare. Itinerary


Day 1, Arrival at Kathmandu Airport (1,350m) and transfer to hotel

We, Himalaya Darshan Treks heartily welcome you and your group to Nepal. One of our company staff will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The person will be waiting outside the baggage hall of the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, holding an A4-size paper with your name and our company name. So, you have to look for that person for your pick up from the airport. Your check-in at the hotel.

Day 2, Drive to Pokhara (850m) and Transfer to hotel.

After breakfast, we will scenic drive to Pokhara for about 5/6 hours. The distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara is 200 kilometers. Pokhara is known as a tourist city in Nepal. So that you can do many tourism activities before and after your trekking. Your transfer to the hotel.

Day 3, Drive to Ghumaune Tal and Trek to Bans Kharka (1,525m), Stay at home stay

After breakfast in Pokhara, We will scenic drive to Ghumaune Tal through the road to Beni Jomsom by Taxi/Car (It depends on your group size and your package). We will enjoy seeing beautiful mountains, forests, and rivers. Likewise driving through many beautiful places like Nayapul, Beni, and Galeswor. We will have lunch at Ghumaune tal. After lunch has to cross the bridge on the Kali Gandaki River then our trail leads us to Banskharka. walking through a nice forest and passing a nice Orange garden and an incredible view of the Dhaulagiri Himalayan range.

Day 4, Trek to Nangi (2300m), Stay at community tea house.

After breakfast, the journey starts as we ascend to reach the small top and enjoy the beautiful valley view and some of the mountains then we reach the village of Danda Kateri, where we will have lunch. On the way, we’ll pass through magnificent Rhododendron and pine woods, and the incredible view of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges will be in full view. After lunch, the trails are straightforward with some uphill and downhill travel as well as some flat travel until reach Nangi village.

Day 5, Trek to Mohare Danda (3,300m), Stay at community tea house.

On our route to Mohare Danda Ridge, we start our hike by traversing rhododendron, oak, and bamboo forests. We have some fantastic views of the neighboring mountains from the crest, particularly at daybreak when the colors reflect off the snow-capped summits.

We can enjoy the amazing view of Mt Dhaulagiri range and walking through the forest is so cool. The nice sound from the birds makes our trek more pleasant. Trekking from March to May months is more beautiful and colorful than the rhododendron flower. We need to cross the small pass named Hampal Pass 3,150m with an incredible view.

Day 6, Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m), Stay at tea house.

On this day, we must rise early to catch the stunning dawn, which illuminates the Himalayas in a vibrant golden glow. We can capture breathtaking shots of the mountains and surrounding area at Mohare Danda. Following breakfast, we set out for the picturesque village of Ghorepani, the starting point of the Annapurna region’s first well-known hiking route. We will trek through a lovely rhododendron woodland as descend to Tin Pokhari. This location is especially great since we can take in a truly breathtaking view of Mt. Dhaulagiri before gently traveling via Ghorepani. The Ghorepani Poon Hill is well-known around the world.

Day 7, Hike to Poonhill (3,210m) and Trek descend to Tikhe Dhunga. Stay at tea house.

Early morning Hiking to Poonhill (3,210m) (enjoy incredible mountain views of Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. Likewise, Nilgiri is north and south, with Tukuche Peak and many beautiful mountains.

The amazing Sunrise view, Green Valley, and much more. Breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast trek descends to Tikhedhunga.

Day 8, Drive to Pokhara and transfer to hotel

After breakfast, a short and easy trek to Nayapul then drives to Pokhara. You can enjoy a visiting look around Pokhara. It is a very nice tourist city in Nepal. You can enjoy and relax during your half-day at Pokhara.

Day 9, Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus and transfer to hotel.

Returning to Kathmandu entails a 7-hour trip through the Trisuli River and via numerous towns. You can spend your time relaxing or shopping for souvenirs to take home. In the evening, we will offer a goodbye dinner with cultural dance performances in a traditional restaurant to memorated your incredible journey.
